Content Manager Intern
Location: Brussels / Nairobi
Elewa is a young and growing startup in the field of education and development aid. Our goal is simple, we improve the quality of education in Kenya through an integrated approach. One of the pillars which ensure this quality, is access to high quality educational content.
As a content manager, you will be overseeing our content developers and ensuring they develop according to our defined standards and quality. Besides this, you will be responsible for testing the content with potential users, guiding the developers and generally being the company’s leading authority in the development and use of educational content.
Be a good listener and be capable of truly understanding what’s required in education in Kenya
Work closely with our content managers in Kenya to ensure the in house developed content fits our quality requirements
Test educational content before deployment
Understand the educational needs and goals of schools, teachers and students
Constantly review and monitor usage of educational content and recommend improvements
Liaise with other departments in the company to ensure solutions are complementary
You are creative, motivated and willing to learn
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
You are flexible and able to work in a dynamic and ever changing environment
Preferably be a Bachelor or Master student in Education, Pedagogy, or a related field.
You are driven by the impact your contributions are making. You dare to dream and work towards achieving that
You have a good mastery of the Kiswahili language
